Though mammograms and biopsies are highly sensitive tests but it is not necessary that it will detect every malignant tumor. Hence, it is imperative that all women realize that early detection is a key in diagnosing and surviving breast cancer. Women of all ages should discover how to do breast self examination (BSE) to know what is normal for their breasts. It is the most simple, private ad quick method for taking care of your own breast health at your home.
According to recent research, almost 70% of women do not practice it either because they don't have time for it or because they think they are not sure what to look for or they feel uncomfortable touching their own breasts.
